I'm also glad that you mentioned Pooja's Mama's Saris - she's now based here in Singapore :) - we have met several times through the Asian Festival of Children's Content where we both are active participants/contributors.

One of the things that I love the most here in Singapore is the library - but we can only borrow up to eight books! I can see here that you don't seem to have that limit! In my own institution where I am a university lecturer, I can borrow up to 40 titles - so that's a good thing - but boy am I envious by the stack of books you got going in here. Enjoy those delectable picture books!!!! :)GatheringBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477710897574769648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619064257976283368.post-45332414719717623492012-01-17T18:42:03.049-05:002012-01-17T18:42:03.049-05:00That is one of the great things about city living ...That is one of the great things about city living - we have one library branch 3 blocks away, and another, on the way to my daughter's school, 10 blocks in the other direction.Even in Australiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477875616674358434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619064257976283368.post-39342917154438014152012-01-17T18:26:04.936-05:002012-01-17T18:26:04.936-05:00Beautiful! I live far, far away from them, and because winter travel is minimal, I don't generally check out books in winter. Library books are summer books. In winter, I read from my shelves. The good news is, I have a lot of books.

Happy reading!JenFWhttp://www.arisgarden.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619064257976283368.post-46094459876759079952012-01-14T16:56:23.002-05:002012-01-14T16:56:23.002-05:00Lots o' great titles! Nowadays their bedtime reading looks more like the last stack.Magdalena Ballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00182314078304734996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619064257976283368.post-70008040032800635652012-01-13T18:22:53.050-05:002012-01-13T18:22:53.050-05:00I've heard good things about Berlin Boxing Clu...I've heard good things about Berlin Boxing Club, so am looking forward to that one myself.

I loved Deadly - my spoiler-free recommendation here: http://booksyalove.blogspot.com/2011/07/deadly-fiction.html

Visiting through MotherReader & Lee Wind's Comment Challenge and shall be back!Katy Manck (BooksYALove)http://booksyalove.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619064257976283368.post-64889501151518613062012-01-12T12:37:19.333-05:002012-01-12T12:37:19.333-05:00I spy some Cybils books!

Frederick was popular though; I don't think I really appreciated Leonni until I read him with my kids.

I find Fancy Nancy annoying, although she isn't as bad as Olivia.Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18005286623073064886noreply@blogger.com
