Library Loot #2

Below are the books we currently have out from the library.  Between the last Library Loot post and this one, we also checked out a few books not shown here because we rejected them and returned them so quickly.  They are now lost to history.  But you'll also see several that we still have out - either because we loved them so or because we have yet to read them!

For the kids:

For me:

  1. This is such a satisfying way to peek in on someone else's life! And I see a few urban picture books in there! :) I am so curious about a book called "Sad Underwear." --Erica

  2. Maybe you should buy a bookshelf for library books (and an accompanying card catalog). I am worried I cannot handle the burden.

    Sincerely --

    The end table

  3. Hey, you found When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit! Enjoy the memory walk.

  4. @Storied Cities: I did take lots of your recommendations, including for Tea and Cookies! Also, your profile photo was one of my inspirations for the Library Loot posts!

  5. @Storied Cities: ps - Sad Underwear is a great collection of poems by the author of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Judith Viorst.

  6. New cookbook rec for you: The Commonsense Kitchen, by Tom Hudgens. It makes me feel like a chef.

Your pile makes me drool -- I wish I had more time to read these days!

  7. @Annie: I put it on hold at the library! Thanks.

Re the pile: it makes me drool too. But I have whatever the book/time equivalent is of having eyes bigger than your stomach. So many books, so little time.
